Why do I (a minor) need to have a linked Parent or Guardian to start my account?

Legally, you have to be 18 or older to open a bank account in the US. This is why you will need an adult to help activate your Copper account. Your parent/guardian will have their own Copper account where they can easily transfer funds to your account.
