We use Plaid to connect external bank accounts to Copper accounts. This makes it possible for you to transfer money using bank-to-bank funds transfer processes, which usually takes 3-5 business days on average to settle.
If your bank is not listed, it is not supported by Plaid at this time.
If your checking account provider isn't supported, there are alternative ways you can fund the account, instead of a bank-to-bank transfer.
1️⃣ Direct deposit from your employer! Most HR systems have the ability for you to set up additional accounts to send money to from every paycheck. You can set it up for $10, $20 or more from your paycheck to be direct deposited into your parent/adult wallet with no fees.
2️⃣ You can link an external account's debit card to your parent/adult wallet with instant transfer for a small fee.
3️⃣ You can link to a third-party platform, such as CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo.
