What if parent/guardian doesn't have a driver's license or it's expired?

To comply with US regulations, banks, credit unions, and organizations working with them to offer banking services must verify the identity of a person before opening an account. The most common way to do so is with a valid, state-issued, driver's license or identification card and a social security card. 🔍

 

As Copper is set up for parents to open accounts that they then authorize for a youth or teen to use, we must first meet the legal requirements of verifying the parent's identification.
