What if parent/guardian doesn't have SSN?

The government requires every bank to verify a customer’s identity before opening an account.

 

The items required to meet these regulations include collecting and verifying the applicant's name, date of birth, address, and an acceptable identification number. For individuals, the identification number used by banking institutions is a person's Social Security number.

 

At this time we do not accept the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
